MISSIONS

Engaging lostness.
Equipping believers.
Empowering partners.

First Baptist Church has a great and long history of pioneering church planting and leading and establishing compassion and relief efforts throughout Saline County. First Baptist continues to be one of the leading prayer and financial supporters of the Southern Baptist Convention through the Cooperative Program, which exponentially expands the reach of the Gospel both domestically and internationally. FBC desires to engage lostness, equip believers, and empower partners, resulting in the lost becoming saved, disciples being made and multiplied in Central Arkansas and around the world, and lives and communities being transformed by the power of the Gospel. The local and global missions (GO - Global Outreach) often serve as the tip of the spear for our Kingdom-advancing congregation.

Pray

Help shift our church culture and transform our community by leading prayer initiatives for the broken, those who don't know Christ, and field workers serving among the least-reached people around the world.

Go

Every believer is called to go. Put your yes on the table and trust God to put it on the map. No matter your gift or your skill, we want to help you take your place in God's global story, whether short-term or long-term.

Give

Whether to the General Missions fund of our church, supporting a person going on a short-term trip, or gifts to one of our cooperative missions partners, maximize the resources that the Lord has entrusted to you.

Local Missions

Global Missions

Global Missions

Take your place in God's global story in North America and around the world.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19-20

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

Jeremiah 29:7

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Acts 1:8

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"

Romans 10:14-15
