WOMEN

Our women’s ministry is more than just big events and Bible study classes. We are women of faith and action who have come together to spur one another on in love and good deeds.

There are many ways you can serve and be involved in the ministries that are under the umbrella of women's ministry. It all starts with connecting with one of our women’s ministry lead team members  to hear your heart and see where God is calling you to serve. We have Bible study classes each semester, we have D-groups and Mentor/Mentee relationships forming, we have a ministry that focuses on missions, a group of ladies who pray and do acts of kindness through the year, and we are just starting. There are more ministries that are being dreamed of and being formed each month.  Call the church and ask for one of our women’s ministry lead team members to reach out and meet with you and let them tell you of all the ways you can connect with the women of our church.

Discipleship Groups (D Groups)

D-Groups (short for Discipleship Groups) are small, multi-generational groups that meet weekly for prayer, accountability, and time in the Word. These groups provide a meaningful way to grow in your faith while building deeper relationships with other women in our community. God never intended us to do life alone. It's just better when we do it together!

However, spaces are limited to keep groups small, so be sure to register now to be a part of this inaugural round of D-Groups!

View the registration link below to search groups by the day and time that works best for you. If you have any questions, feel free to email Meredith McLendon (mermclendon@gmail.com).

Discipleship

Discipleship

The Women’s Discipleship Team exists to create a variety of opportunities for women to be trained in godliness in the context of relationships through Bible studies, D-Groups, and mentoring.
Outreach

Outreach

The Outreach Team exists to Reach out and serve/support those that God places in our hearts and paths.  This includes, but not limited to: FBC members/staff, visitors, local community, the other teams of FBC Women’s Ministry, Women On Mission, Acts of Kindness, Sunshine Circle, Women Equipped and many others. Our passion is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by encouraging and participating in opportunities such as Greeting/Hostessing and Missions Education.

Equipping Classes

This is our midweek emphasis for our adults. Wednesday nights are not just for kids.  We want to encourage our adults in their faith as well. We believe discipleship starts at home and for that to happen we want to make sure we are investing in the spiritual growth of our adults.  Each semester has two terms lasting around 8 weeks. We have a week break in-between each term and on that night we call the whole church together for a night of prayer.

Our Equipping classes rotate to address practical spiritual disciplines and topics that our adults are facing not only for themselves but for their families and in their work environments.
